Sidonie In Japan follows the story of a French writer named Sidonie, who is grieving her husband’s death. She went to Japan for her first book reedition. There she meets a local editor named Kenzo. Slowly she begins to bond with him while travelling to Kyoto. Unaware that her late husband’s ghost is following her everywhere. One day, she confronts her husband’s ghost and the ghost tells her that he has never left her. Conflicted, she shares this with her editor, who told her in Japan we keep our feelings to ourselves.
